Krewe of the Caribbean Cowboys

“One person can’t make a difference, but if you stand with me...we aren’t one person.”

About Us

The Krewe of the Caribbean Cowboys is a civic organization based in the Tampa Bay Area that raises money for two local charities and one national charity (all of them being 501[c] [3] organizations).

The first charity group that our efforts benefit is Angels Unaware that provides housing and supervision to adult developmentally disabled patients. Angels was started in 1973 and currently has 7 homes in the Tampa Community that provide care for approximately 50 patients.

The second local charity that our group helps is called Krewes Kare, which raises funds for storm victims across the Southeastern United States. This organization raises money to purchase immediate relief supplies to be flown Angel Flight Southeast volunteer pilots to disaster stricken victims in times of need. Since its inception in September 2005 Krewes Kare has sent nearly 50 plane loads of emergency relief supplies and established a tent city for more than 1,000 victims.

The national charity that we support is the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  This foundation helps to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research by organizing the 3 Day Cancer Walks across the country.  With the funds raised by our group and others like us, they are just a few steps closer to finding a cure.

The Krewe of the Caribbean Cowboys continues to operate from the continuing support of local businesses and individuals that feel as we do “one person might not be able to make a difference, but if you stand with me…we aren’t one person”.
